DOWNTOWN LECTURE SERIES FOCUSES ON FOOD - Oct. 15, 2014
The University of Arizona's College of Social and Behavioral Sciences' Downtown Lecture Series returns to the historic Fox Theatre on Wednesdays this fall. The 2014 lecture series will explore food and its connections with health, culture, and the environment. The series begins on Oct. 15 with Dr. Diana Liverman's talk, "Changing Geographies of Food", at 6:30 p.m. The lectures are free and open to the public with tickets available at the Fox Theatre box office beginning at 4 p.m. on the day of each lecture. Attendees can ride the Sun Link streetcar to the event and enjoy the dining and retail opportunities along the route at Main Gate Square, Fourth Avenue, Downtown Tucson, or the Mercado District.

URBAN AGRICULTURE PUBLIC MEETING - Oct. 23, 2014
The fourth public meeting on the effort underway to revise the City’s zoning regulations on urban agriculture, including farmers’ markets, community gardens, urban farms, and the keeping of small animals.
